't Pannekoekschip

Experience Dutch culture at 't Pannekoekschip. Step aboard the beautiful, nearly 100-year-old two-masted clipper. Before this boat was converted into 't Pannekoekschip that we know today, she sailed the Dutch waters under the name Actueel. The boat was built in 1926 and sixty years later was moored at the Willemskade in Leeuwarden, where for more than 25 years now the most delicious pancakes of Friesland are being baked.

Upon entering, you immediately experience the ship's atmosphere. Many authentic elements have been preserved. If you take a seat in the ship's hold, you have a view of the open galley where Capt'n Pancake and his ship's cooks prepare the pancakes for you in the traditional way.
